THE KANDI GIRL COSMETICS STORY

Kandi Girl Cosmetics™ is an inspirational beauty brand founded by Tamika Woodard.  This brand is unique in that its primary goal is to inspire and motivate women of all ages to live in the acceptance of their true beauty in which they were created.  Kandi Girl Cosmetics™ stands on the foundation of God first and family second.  This is what bought Tamika to the knowledge and desire to create such a brand as her daughter Lanaiya struggled with body image and self-esteem issues bringing to surface her own bout with the same issues.  Tamika is now a partner with her daughter, co-founder of Golden Belle Waxing and together they have committed to servicing women and educating them on how to embrace their uniqueness.  

 

With a passion for high-quality products and services, Tamika has been involved in the beauty industry since 2000 serving as a licensed makeup artist, beauty manager, and pro-team freelance artist working for major beauty brands and high-end retailers.  She has worked alongside celebrity makeup artists, working behind the scenes on fashion shows, NY Fashion Week, and on the set of television shows.  She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience and has a passion to help make women all over the world look and feel beautiful.
